Our 4×4 driving experience is a little different to most, we don’t use the stereotypical four-wheel-drive vehicle, such as Shogun or Land Rover, we use a Polaris RZR. Polaris are the world leaders in powersports and off-road innovation, and the rzr has been pushing the limits of off roading for over 10 years. There is no question about it, a Polaris RZR will easily go where other 4×4’s cannot.
We chose to use polaris RZR for two reasons, firstly, they are easier to drive, as they have a simple automatic gearbox, just rev and go.
Secondly, because they are lighter than a conventional four-wheel drive and will go pretty much anywhere with ease. It is because of these two reasons, that a Polaris rzr will allow a novice driver to tackle the sort of terrain, that normally only experienced drivers could do.
So here at Xsite Leisure, we have a purpose built 4×4 track especially for the rzr; designed to show off it’s extreme capabilities. Our track Ranges from gentle slopes, to near vertical climbs, through woodland and through water. We even have our own see saw.
Our experienced instructors will give you a briefing and a quick tour of our for wheel drive track, before swapping seats and allowing you to take the wheel. Our instructor will be sat next to you the whole time as your co-pilot; instructing you on and how to approach each obstacle.

What to expect
You can just turn up, but to avoid disappointment we recommend you call us on 01737 772548 to book a time slot, or book on line. Please arrive 30min before your booked time, so we can get you signed in. Our 4×4 Experience last around 20 minutes including all safety briefings. If you want a longer session, just call, we can arrange it.

What you need to bring
Suitable outdoor clothing must be worn at all times when driving our 4×4, eg covered legs and closed in shoes. The 4×4 Polaris RZR you will be driving is a open rollcage, so we recommend you bring spare clothes to change into, especially if it is wet, as you can get pretty muddy. Also a towel is recommended and a bin bag for your wet clothes. If you would like to try and stay a bit dryer we offer water proof overalls hire for £5.

Xsite Leisure reserves the right to refuse participants permission to take part in any activity, or to stop a participants session early without a refund, If any member of staff has reason to believe that a participant is riding or driving dangerously, or is misusing our equipment. Or has reason to believe that a participant is under the influence of drugs/alcohol or any other substance, that would likely affect/impair the participants ability to take part in Xsite Leisure activities.
